Senior Client Accountant

Our client, a Boutique Consultancy firm specializing in the online gaming industry, is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of their portfolio of clients in Gaming, and other industries.

Looking for someone with solid experience, reliable, and autonomous to join their small and family-oriented firm.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of accounts for local companies, mainly gaming, but also within other sectors, handling accounting and other related duties.

Acting as a liaison to a portfolio of clients and addressing their queries.

Tax reporting, payments and liaising with tax authorities.

VAT compliance and preparation.

Liaise with local authorities.

Provide Accounting consultancy if required.

Provide payroll support to some clients.

Requirements:

Relevant Qualification is preferred, but not required to have ACCA

Minimum 3 years of experience, and at least 1 year of experience working with Gaming clients

Ability to work independently and reliable

Local experience in the Maltese market

A Maltese speaker is preferred

Proficient English knowledge is also a must.
