Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our Centre of Excellence (CoE), in Penang, Malaysia.

As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will:
- Supporting the Manager, Corporate Tax with Half Year and Annual Australian corporate income tax compliance and reporting.
- Responsible for completing and lodging the monthly Goods & Services Tax (GST) and Fuel Tax Credit (FTC) returns.
- Responsible for drafting responses and collating supporting documents in connection with the Australian Taxation Office risk reviews for income tax, GST and FTC .
- Assisting in developing and implementing tax processes and standards, both within Group Tax and across Toll's business units, which are aligned to Toll's values and strategy.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to utilise technology, cross function knowledge
- Providing Income tax and GST advisory services and support to other corporate functions and Toll's business units.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree in Accountancy and professional qualifications (Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser, CPA or equivalent)
- At least 4 years of tax experience in professional practice or a corporate group.
- Good understanding of the principles and practices of direct and indirect taxes
- Good understanding of the accounting, legal and commercial considerations relevant to the tax issues in the industry in which Toll operates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with a broad range of people with a diverse array of skill sets, seniority and cultural backgrounds to define and implement projects.
