Interim Accountant

This impressive brand, with a solid track record in their field, are currently experiencing a period of sustained growth. This growth is enabling the business to instigate a period of change, including new systems and processes across the finance team. As a result, the business is looking to add to their current bandwidth and have created a need for a good all rounder to join the firm asap. You will ideally be a qualified accountant, or highly experienced QBE. You will have the ability to work in a standalone manner, whilst also being a strong team player. The main duties of the role are as follows: *Hands on involvement in production of monthly management accounts including all balance sheet & cashflow statements, transactional postings, and overhead analysis. *Invoice Discount Facility monthly reconciliations and associated reports.*Liaising with the Financial Controller to ensure all departmental reporting outputs are produced in a timely manner and accurately reflect company performance.*Production of quarterly VAT returns for the group ensuring accuracy & compliance with MTD.*Supervise the preparation of the monthly payrolls - full end to end including payroll technical guidance when required.*All associated payroll reporting and reconciliation's Inc AOE and Pensions. *Responsible for end of year payroll returns e.g., P60s & P11ds.*Short to Medium term Cash Management.*HMRC Compliance e.g. PAYE and Class 1A/1B NIC.*Ensure all costs are accurately attributed to the correct individual revenue streams.You will need to have strong SAGE & EXCEL skills and be available to start this role ASAP.
