The Opportunity:
My client is looking for an Accountant to help them continue to provide an excellent service to their client base.
You will be responsible for accounts related matters to include, but not be limited to:
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
- Preparation of corporation tax computations
- Management accounts assignments
- Bookkeeping, including maintaining client's accounting records on cloud-based software
- Involvement in implementation of changing regulations (ie MTD) and technologies
- Expansion into other areas such as personal tax, payroll, VAT is possible
- Liaising with clients and assisting ad-hoc queries
- You will be AAT Qualified or qualified by experience.
- You will have at least 2 years accounting experience in practice or industry
- You will have excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- You will be personable and have a good client facing manner
- You will be able to work independently but contribute to the wider team
- A competitive salary (£24-30k depending on experience)
