Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant required by our client an Accountancy Practice based in Leeds to join their growing team. The Senior Accountant will have a solid background within practice and will be ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified.

The Senior Accountant will report directly to the partner. The chosen candidate will have experience dealing with corporation and personal tax, reviewing accounts, payroll, bookkeeping, management accounts and preparation of tax computations.

Accountant Position Overview

Accounts preparation for Limited companies, sole traders and partnerships

Corporation Tax compliance

Personal tax compliance

Dealing with Payroll and Auto Enrolment issues

Bookkeeping

Preparation of tax computation for all account's assignments

Monthly and quarterly management accounts

Review of accounts files done by other members of the team

Company secretarial tasks including minutes, and review of Confirmation statements

Accountant Position Requirements

Experience within a similar role previously

6 years+ experience within practice is essential

Experience using Iris, Xero, Quickbooks, Sage is preferred

Accountant Position Remuneration

Salary £35,000- £42,000

Days Monday- Friday

Hours 9am- 5:30pm

Annual leave 20 days + bank holidays
