This Ely based FMCG as looking for a Management Accountant to play an important role in smooth running of the business at a number of their entities. The role will have responsibility for the transactional finance duties as well as producing detailed analysis to share with a number of stakeholders to help drive key strategic decisions.

Description
The Management Accountant will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the transactional finance; AP, AR and Bank Reconciliations
- Ensuring the VAT is calculated and processed in a timely and accurate manner
- Responsibility for month end tasks; trial balance, prepayment, accruals and fixed assets
- Producing monthly accounts with strong cash flow reports
- Liaise with the stakeholders of European entities, providing key information to inform strategy decisions
- Assisting with the budgeting process for European entities
- Review general ledger reconciliations
Profile
The successful candidate for the Management Accountant will:
- Be actively studying a professional qualification; ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Have strong communication abilities, comfortable dealing with a broad range of stakeholders
- Be a strong user of Excel, able to perform V LookUps and Pivot Tables as a minimum
- Be confident with financial systems; Microsoft DynamicsAX would be advantageous
- Previous experience within the FMCG sector, or similar, would be advantageous
