Job overview
Our finance team is looking for a highly motivated person with excellent technical finance skills to manage and develop our financial accounting and payroll function.

Main duties of the job
The Head of Financial Accounts will be a qualified accountant (CCAB or CIMA), having overall responsibility for managing and developing NICE’s financial accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. This will include leading a team of finance and payroll professionals, as well as training and developing others studying for professional qualifications and apprenticeships.
You will be an expert in all matters relating to accounting standards and key financial controls, and will lead the production of the Annual Accounts, including being the key point of contact for audit.
You will create and lead on systems and processes to ensure the Standing Financial Instructions are adhered to and records are correctly maintained, including managing our contracts for financial services, payroll and expense systems.

The Finance team sits within the Finance, Strategy and Transformation directorate. You will be joining a team of 17 people who perform a range of financial accounting, payroll and financial management services for an organisation with approximately £80m budget and 800 employees.

- Postgraduate diploma, CIPD, CCAB financial qualification (eg ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA) or equivalent qualification
