We are currently seeking a Solution Architect for SAP S/4HANA Human Capital Management (HCM) to join our team to grow the SAP HCM capability within the EY Ford Rhodes SAP team, whilst taking on a lead role in current engagements with clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will identify opportunities with both new and existing clients, where EY can bring value to bear through the adoption of these solutions. These are shared with all EY market facing organizations to provide consistency and common platforms with which to go to market.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, as follows:

  • Responsible for planning and executing SAP Implementation / Development / Optimization of SAP S/4HANA and comfortable with leading functional teams within his/her area of expertise.
  • Effectively manage performance improvement projects, develop analysis, run and engage client teams and stakeholders, and deliver high-quality work products.
  • Prepare and conduct business process design workshops
  • SAP Activate/Agile Implementation
  • Document, resolve and escalate issues and perform data transformation activities
  • Develop Functional Specifications for WRICEFs development
  • Perform Test Management (Sprints) of the solution
  • Provide for Key User Training and post implementation support.
  • Effectively team with diverse skills and backgrounds and foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise domain knowledge with technology skills.
  • Demonstrate characteristics of a forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge.
  • Ability to lead a team of consulting professionals on multiple projects.

Skills and Attributes for Success

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a reputable university along with SAP S/4 certification(s) in relevant domain.
  • At least 7-12 years of progressive SAP experience implementing SAP HCM, understand client requirements, provide solutions, functional specifications and configure the system accordingly.
  • At least 5+ years’ experience of:
    • Working with SAP configuration, as well as 2-3 full life cycle implementations (or equivalent experience) required.
    • Leading large-scale SAP implementation programs
    • Leading a business blueprint and documenting business requirements that can be understood by a technical process team.
  • Characteristics of a forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge
  • Prior consulting experience and a demonstrated history of driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects.
  • Ability to lead a team of consulting professionals on multiple projects.
  • A strong work ethic willingness to travel to meet client needs.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues
  • A dedication to teamwork and integrity within a professional environment
  • Previous working experience in international consulting environments (or projects) will be appreciated
