Your field of responsibility

The Group Capital and Liquidity Reporting function is on its mission to drive initiatives and projects to challenge the status-quo and strategically position the Capital Measurement, Validation, and Regulatory Capital Reporting functions of Credit Suisse for the future. You will bring to the table a detailed understanding of the Bank’s regulatory capital and leverage Exposure Calculation and the relevant Banking Regulations. You will develop into a critical player in multifaceted strategic initiatives and projects across several functions and divisions including Finance, Risk, IT, and Front Office. Additionally, you can show your analytical capabilities and soft skills like communication abilities, time management, problem-solving, decision making, creative thinking, and conflict solution.

You have an entrepreneurial mindset and fresh ideas and are someone who thinks as much about the challenge at hand as the creative solution to it. And while you have a drive towards results and completion, you practice flexibility, persistence, and non-attachment as challenges as projects change and evolve. Ideally, you have profound analytical intuition, and you possess the ability to translate numbers into words. You also enjoy looking at data flows and data sets to unlock actionable insights and help stakeholders formulate and answer the right questions.

  • A university degree or an equivalent educational background, preferably with a major in economics or finance bundled with at least 3 to 4 years of working experience in the financial industry preferably within a Risk or Finance function, ideally related to regulatory capital
  • You have a strong IT affinity and profound analytical intuition, and are used to mastering anything you set your mind to, fast, whether with or without someone to guide you
  • You have experience extracting insights from data and communicating and presenting key findings to a senior audience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner to a non-technical audience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, identifying and aligning on what the most impactful work is
  • Understands the value of diversity in the workplace and is dedicated to fostering an inclusive culture in all aspects of working life so that people from all backgrounds receive equal treatment, realize their full potential and can bring their full, authentic selves to work
