Our Global Finance Controllership Team provides support for driving reporting & statutory central compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

As a Reporting & Statutory CoE Senior Manager you will ensure technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence. We expect you understand concepts, methods, procedures, and approaches.

As a Reporting & Statutory CoE Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing 3 Leaders and their teams within the group of Central CoE in terms of hiring, motivation, training, and performance management.
  • Having responsibility for Legal Entity Review (LER), dormant companies audit, audit adjustment analysis, IFRS implementation support, legal entity taxonomy, inventory/PPE sighting or count.
  • Having responsibility for audit delivery team documentations (prepared by client, management letters, support letters, engagement letters, etc) to ensure regional Reporting & Statutory teams are able to manage their deliveries.
  • Monitoring Reporting & Statutory Regional teams in terms of audit KPI progress/delinquent and fees are accrued and spent within budget. Also ensure escalation and logistics of KPMG teams are managed (i.e. laptops, access, etc).
  • Having responsibility for automation, digitalization, analytics, or new technologies opportunities within Reporting & Statutory Global team.
  • Having responsibility for Reporting & Statutory team interns, universities reach-outs, training & developments and other people initiatives.
  • Developing influencing skills to achieve objectives, capable influencing of others.
  • Supporting Global Reporting & Statutory Leader to manage central business activities, projects, communications, or events.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any business related field.
  • Have professional qualification in either Accounting (CPA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) is an added advantage.
  • Have minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Accounting within a Big 4 or multinational environment.
  • Have a good working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems, such as Oracle or SAP and advanced user in Excel.
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-moving environment, take initiative and be able to self-managed.
  • Have good written and spoken communication with the ability to effectively communicate complicated financial technical issues with senior leadership.
  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of cross-functional teams.
  • Be able to lead and collaborate effectively across multiple internal functions.
