Responsible for managing within Treasury Management Operations, as enabling support group for front-office/client-facing partners and clients directly. The Treasury Management Operations team supports all Treasury Management products and services. Responsibilities of the team include implementing Web Cash Movement, Wire, ACH, Trade Order Entry and Global Cash Movement setups for partners and clients globally. This role conducts performance management and career development processes, and staffing and disciplinary actions.

  1. Oversees and is accountable for the departmental expectations, policies and procedures.
  2. Manages a team that works directly with the client on the implementation of Treasury Management products and services, and facilitates the back-office processing and related support functions.
  3. Knowledge of Treasury Management and Trust products (Wires, ACH, WCM, TOE & GCM)
  4. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, process improvement and efficiency; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  5. Should be adaptable and maintain flexibility in completing tasks in an ever changing workplace.
  6. Manages a team that focuses on maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures, building towards becoming an area expert.
  7. Responsible for coverage during vacation or ill time. Trains/coaches new staff.
  8. Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function.
  9. As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level, as well as ensure effective application of key controls and execution of control related processes.
  10. Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.
  11. Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities.
  12. Conducts performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions and provides hands-on training to staff.
  13. Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.
  14. Provides input and support to budget management process.
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management and/or Trust products (WCM, TOE & GCM) is preferred
  • Excellent leadership, project management, organizational, oral and written communication skills are required
  • In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change
  • Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft) is required
  • Leadership and organizational skills are required to develop periodic goals and to manage and motivate team members towards the goals set.
