Page Personnel is recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a manufacturing business in Liverpool.

Description

As Assistant Management Accountant, your duties will include:

• Assist in the production of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing reports on costs and identify saving opportunities through liaison with other departments
• Forecasting on costs
• Assist in the budgeting process
• Gross margin analysis by SKU and analyse BOMs
• Customer profitability analysis
• Posting accruals and prepayments

Profile

The successful applicant must have:

• AAT qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA
• Good experience in a similar role doing management accounts
• Strong communication skills
• Competent with Excel
• Must work well both in a team and alone
• Accuracy and attention to detail with good time management and organisation skills
