Job purpose

As a Compliance Officer you are responsible for maintaining client acceptance files (CDD) and advising management on these. You will maintain charters and policies based on identified regulatory, legal, strategic, operational and other changes and findings, and develop and provide trainings on these. The Compliance Officer executes the monitoring program, including review, advise and administration on client acceptance files and reporting. in addition, the Compliance Officer plans, organizes and controls TMF's day-to-day administrative and operational Compliance activities and is responsible for implementing and administering all aspects of TMF's Compliance program.

On behalf of the Head of Compliance the Compliance Officer can act as the contact person vis-à-vis the regulatory authorities in the Netherlands or other external parties and take care of regulatory filings, when required.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Maintain client acceptance files (CDD) and advise management on the (re-) acceptance of clients, including:
• Consult with TMF Group Compliance on the advice regarding the (re)acceptance of clients
• Monitor/review the periodically review of client entities
• Manage (the administration on) the Compliance Netherlands workload
• Maintain and update the database on client acceptance files
• Hold regular meetings with team leaders and/or supervisors responsible for a group of clients/client entities
• Contribute to the audit of clients and client entities
• Act as back-up/replacement of a Senior Compliance Officer in meetings
• Develop, initiate, maintain and revise policies in agreement with Senior Compliance Officers and/or Head of Compliance.
• Execute monitor programs including:
• Monitoring on transaction monitoring
• Preparing a SIRA

Your profile

• Master degree in Dutch Law or solid relevant professional experience. Certified as Compliance Officer is an advantage
• Familiarity with WTT, Wwft, Sanction law.
• Knowledge of compliance and integrity
• Knowledge on trust services and its related business, corporate and tax laws is an advantage
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
