You will be responsible for running day-to-day operations for our HQ and local team and contributing to the growth of the regional accounting function. You will not only ensure timely preparation of our payable / receivable function across our entities. You will also help to drive the improvement of accounting best practices in all operating entities.

The role

Requirements
Main Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of receivables from our marketplace, ensure that it tallies and follow up for outstanding matters/discrepancies
- Assisting to prepare schedules for moth end closing
- Support in invoice processing
- Updating of cash flow and bank balances
- Assist in other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
- High attention to detail, logical and analytical
- Basic Excel skills
- A genuine curiosity to know how things work and how to make them better
- Enjoy learning new things and pick them up quickly
- Availability for at least 3 months (Starting from 4th Jul 2022 onwards)
Qualifications & Experience
- Candidate must possess/is undergoing at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet
- Preferably specialised in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
- Able to speak English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
Other details
- Minimum commitment of 4 to 6 months
- Internship level salary and benefits provided
- Commencement period: ASAP
