Are you someone with a keen interest in Data Governance, leveraging technology and process improvement? Do you have experience executing projects and tracking delivery? We are looking for someone like this to:

• promote and support Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) adoption of the Group Data Management Framework (DMF 2.0), tools and sustainability
• preparation of materials, minutes and follow-up actions for data governance forums
• work closely with business teams to adopt data governance best practices e.g., adherence to data quality and control standards and common data sourcing
• create management reports, dashboards and key data metrics to demonstrate FCP adherence to DMF 2.0 guidelines, and transparency and remediation of data
• support data lineage, attestation and controls assessment process for FCP key data outputs
• participate in the delivery of technology tools to improve data quality and capabilities
• analyze existing data quality measures and key data trends, to enhance data quality
• provide training to FCP stakeholders on Data Quality Issue Management and other DMF tools as required

Your team
You will be working in the FCP Data Management Office (FCP DMO) in Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance (GCRG). The FCP DMO team is a governance and monitoring function ensuring FCP compliance with Data Management policy following the DMF 2.0 guidelines. The team provides data governance services to drive DMF 2.0 adoption promoting data quality, control and sourcing standards. We engage and work with business division subject matter experts and their DMO, the Group DMO, FCP capability owners, change team and IT to maintain a cycle of continuous data quality improvement

Your expertise
• an understanding of data management, governance and analytics, including data lineage, ownership and controls
• advanced MS Office skills, specifically Excel, for data analytics, PowerPoint for management presentations and, Teams, Share Point and Word
• knowledge and understanding of Compliance and specifically, Financial Crime in the Financial Services industry
• ideally 3+ years of experience working with multi-functional teams (Business, IT and Compliance) to understand and remediate data issues, risks and requirements
• experience in developing business requirements, operating procedures and process flows
• excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• self-motivated individual who likes to grow and stretch themselves
• collaborative team player who takes responsibility for the quality of work produced and meeting deadlines
• highly organized, solution driven, with strong attention to detail
