Client Details
A leading Haywards Heath based organisation are looking to recruit a permanent Finance Treasury Assistant.
Description
As Finance Treasury Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Work within the parameters of the agreed business plan for Group Finance.
- Work within agreed processes in order to deliver business plan in line with the Group Finance policy.
- Provide support to Credit Control Team and Treasury Team Leader by ensuring delivery of own performance against agreed objectives, KPI's and SLA's.
- Build and maintain relationships with both External and Internal contacts.
- Committed to promoting a supportive working environment within the department.
- Processing of cash for claims and brokers on a daily basis, to include foreign payments, cheque requests and cancellations.
- Printing and sending out of daily claims cheques.
- Assisting claims department with any related queries.
- Updating cash forms and reconciling to claims systems on a daily basis.
- Posting and reconciling bank accounts.
- Dealing with bank on any related queries.
- Taking part on the rota to deposit cheques to banks.
- Ensure paperwork is filed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitoring activities of bank accounts.
- Covering the other Treasury Assistant's duties during their absence.
- Ensure that all tasks and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with our Values and Customer Service Charter.
- To undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects as instructed by their line manager.
- To adhere to Company processes with regard to FCA compliance and Treating Customers Fairly.
- To ensure that GDPR, FCA, and other regulatory requirements are met.
Profile
- Computer literacy, highly numerate, intermediate excel skills, proven accurate data entry
- Bank reconciliation experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work closely with team colleagues, coupled with working with limited supervision
- An individual who is well organised and able to work to tight deadlines
- Close attention to detail, to ensure that accurate and thorough work is produced in a timely manner
- An individual who possesses initiative, is analytical in nature and not afraid to ask questions.
