JOB TITLE: Associate/Senior Associate

DEPARTMENT: Accounting & Tax

REPORTS TO: Senior Executive

JOB PURPOSE

The Associate/Senior Associate assists the Senior Accountant in the Accounting team in daily deliverables to ensure excellent service to clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains relationship with daily client contact;
  • Performs daily work with medium complexity, including closing full set of book, SFC compliance documents, capital account, annual financial statements, profits tax returns with tax computations, trade and shipping services, and other tailor made management reports/ financial analysis;
  • Performs more advanced data entry and quality document control;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree holder with recognized accounting qualification or business related disciplines;
  • 1 – 2 years relevant experience in professional firms or multinationals;
  • Experience in accounting/payroll/shipping and banking procedures;
  • Sound knowledge of international and local accounting practices;
  • Advanced excel skill set;
  • Good knowledge of local system (e.g. Viewpoint);
  • Good command of both spoken and written English.
