Description
- Responsible for month end closing, and prepare meaningful and good quality analysis relating to the financial positions and performance of the business, e.g. Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet commentary, Cash Flow projection, GP analysis, Capex requirement, Profitability, Ratio, Funds Flow, Reconciliations, and other analysis
- To provide insightful information as and when required by management to support decision making
- Work closely with Business/Operations, HQ finance, and Finance Operations team in relation to financial information, accounting flow and reports
- Assist with data collection, modelling, analyse/interpret data to prepare meaningful reports and data visualizations for presentation to management
- Analyse business processes and requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions (e.g. automation)
- Improve existing processes where possible to drive efficiency in the reconciliation and reporting process
- Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline operations
- Develop SOP of data reconciliation and training manual
- Other ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time across all entities
Profile
- ACCA or equivalent qualification and/or Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance
- 7 - 9 years working experience in Big 4 audit firm and accounting field
- Analytical, possesses good problem-solving skills and a high degree of agility
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good excel skills and knowledge in ORACLE accounting software will be an added advantage
- Committed, highly self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and with good attitude
