The Business Tax Team at Azets Yorkshire help a whole range of clients from start-ups to large multinational businesses deal with the complexities that tax can bring. We support our clients in managing their tax compliance obligations which is a critical part of our role and underpins everything else we do. We are looking for a motivated and energetic candidate with a background in corporate tax compliance to take a leading role in the delivery and direction of our tax compliance projects.

This role is a new role within the Business Tax team at Azets. We are looking for a motivated individual to lead the team's efforts on corporation tax compliance - something most team members are involved in. This role would have a corporation tax compliance focus although some involvement in advisory work is likely to be required.The team's client base is increasingly made up of larger clients including those with complex tax needs and large groups. There is also an increasing number of international groups in our client base requiring liaison with overseas teams.

We are looking for someone to take a lead on the direction and shape of the compliance function within the tax team. This will involve management and delivery of tax compliance projects but also ensuring that the delivery is efficient and cost effective. This latter focus will require internal liaison and engagement and the ability to build relationships and influence across service lines. Moreover, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivery on a large portfolio of corporate clients compliance needs and overall visibility of the wider client base.
