KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains relationship with daily client contact;
  • Performs daily work with medium complexity, including preparation of payment instructions, maintaining cash position, closing full set of book, capital account, annual financial statements, profits tax returns with tax computations and other tailor made management reports/ financial analysis;
  • Assists in startup and accounting administration for new clients;
  • Performs more advanced data entry and quality document control;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree holder with recognized accounting qualification or business related disciplines;
  • Over 2-3 years relevant experience in professional firms or multinationals;
  • Experience in accounting/payroll and banking procedures;
  • Sound knowledge of international and local accounting practices;
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (e.g. Vlookup, IF, Pivot for Excel);
  • Preferred experience with accounting software (e.g. Bugyo, SAP, Dynamics, Oracle);
  • Good command in both spoken and written Japanese and English (TOEIC 750 or above).
