We are seeking a strong business analyst who can surface key people insights from data. You will contribute to the immediate needs and long-term vision of the EMEA HR Partner team, conducting data analysis across multiple tools, providing insights and identifying opportunities for follow-up. The EMEA HR Partner team provides support to 23,500 employees based across 20 countries and 11 business organizations. As a business analyst, you will work with HR Directors, HR Business Partners and the EMEA HR Partner team, presenting insights based on internal and external benchmarks, increasing understanding of the data available and helping to inform the actions required to drive improvements. In this role you will not only execute on the required skills, but also be able to clearly communicate, influence, educate and drive results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Key job responsibilities
  • Design and implement reporting solutions, enabling the EMEA HR team to make informed decisions using data.
  • Develop and implement self-service reporting solutions and build EMEA HR team capability.
  • Provide metrics analysis with written narratives and actionable insights. As needed Develop, validate and maintain recurring or ad-hoc reports to ensure accurate up-to-date reporting using SQL, Excel and/or other scripting languages. Including conducting audits and building insightful visualizations using Tableau, QuickSight, etc.
  • Support HR Leaders with tracking recurrent people metrics, conducting analysis to provide insights.
  • Support the EMEA HR Partner team with the day-to-day execution of projects and initiatives, from a data perspective.
  • Complete ad-hoc data retrieval and analysis, using relational databases, Excel and other data management systems.
  • Have the ability to be self-sufficient in mining data from various HR systems of record including from Quicksight, Salesforce, Peoplesoft, and other internal tools.
  • Correlating insights across different HR KPI's (engagement and voice of the employee mechanisms, employee relations, exit interviews) across job families/business lines.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical field (computer science, economics, math, or statistics or related)
  • 5+ years of professional experience with a heavy emphasis on data and analytics, preferably in HR or recruiting
  • Strong expertise in Excel
  • Experience in extracting and transforming data using SQL
  • Knowledge of basic data visualization techniques (scatter plots, fit lines, bar charts, time series, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong document writing skills
  • Experience working with HR or recruiting data
  • Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) for data extraction and reporting
  • Experience with the R or Python statistical computing language
