Job Description 

Your field of responsibility

Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the daily operation of core businesses within GLG globally, with a focus on the APAC Secured and Unsecured Trading Desks.
  • Providing direct support to GLG Trading Supervisors and Desk Heads on the risk, controls and the trading supervisory framework.
  • Partnering with front-to-back functions, including Trade Management, Product Control, Risk, Operations and IT, in order to strengthen business processes and to ensure the effective operation of GLG as a global business.
  • Managing the remediation and closure of audit, SOX and Risk and Self-Assessment Control (RCSA) action points.
  • Maintaining a robust risk and controls framework across GLG, in addition to ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting GLG desk projects globally.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for:

  • University Degree
  • Proven work experience in financial services. Experience in a Product Control, Trade Management and/or Operations role is a plus.
  • A good knowledge of the trade lifecycle and front-to-back processes.
  • Excellent understanding of MS Excel (including QS add-ins) and MS PowerPoint.
  • The ability to be detail oriented, focused, self-motivated and team oriented.
  • The ability to multitask accurately under tight time constraints in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interface comfortably with senior partners.
  • Results driven with outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
  • You are ambitious, hardworking who can work on own initiative and deliver on time whilst also being a good teammate
