Financial Analysis Senior Advisor

What you’ll achieve

As a Financial Analysis Senior Advisor, you will work with highly skilled account teams to provide planning support for a business unit, including financial performance impact analysis, financial models and reports and variance review of actual and planned results. This Finance role will report into Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization, with strong dotted line to End User Computing Business Unit Finance. The individual provides FP&A support to EUC GM/Vice President and Finance teams. The candidate will play a key role in the planning, forecasting and close activities as well as any analytics necessary to drive the business.

You will:

  • Lead Annual Plan and Semi-annual Forecast on EUC LOBs and interlocks with Global EUC finance to split the forecast
  • Participate actively in weekly Outlook discussion, provide financial data, interlock with BU sales management for sensitivity input, identify opportunities and process improvement
  • Lead variance analysis on all LOBs with understanding of key operational drivers and provide analytics to the Region and countries
  • Monitor accounting close of the business, helping to ensure the overall accuracy of the results
  • Maintain, improve and build efficiency models, reports and analytics to support the various stakeholders, drive efficiency, and identify threats and opportunities
  • Provide accurate, up-to-date and timely financial data to business owners in user-friendly format and coordinate quarterly business reviews (Ops review, SOR, Kick off etc)

Essential Requirements

  • 8 to 12 years of proven experience in a professional role
  • Strong analytical and business modelling skills and the ability to influence and gain trust from others in critical situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Proactivity and capability to handle complex variables in an agile environment

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Detailed knowledge of Excel and other software applications
