Who we are looking for:

This is a client officer role within the Investment analytics business unit of the State Street, servicing our regional client within Asia Pacific.

The client officer interacts with all levels of professionals both internally and externally. Therefore, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are required. Candidates must demonstrate initiative, be able to perform well under pressure and simultaneously handle multiple assignments. Investment analytics business provide Portfolio Performance Measurement & Attribution, Investment Compliance Solution, and private market solution to our analytics client. Experience in any or all of the above areas is preferred.

As part of regional investment analytics team, you are expected to be managing our analytics client with the following responsibilities:

Value-Added Client Service

  • Client owner for your SSIA APAC clients; Single point of contact for investment analytics group for your clients and Relationship manager.
  • Build strong relationships and a deep understanding of your clients
  • Executing the investment analytics group’s Client Service Process (CSP) and client strategy execution (Client Plan).
  • Quarterly Strategic Meetings (support preparation and organization) with the client as part of client management.

Issue / Change Governance

  • Manage client expectations and escalations (turn a negative into a positive experience)
  • Work with our delivery partners and hold the relevant party accountable for client ready deliverables and responses , and work with analytics product management group for gap responses to the client
  • Develop Client action plan Client pain points documented in Client Plans
  • Turnaround times for escalation and issue resolution Development
  • Demonstrate proactive use of the Hypercare Framework and ongoing management of the situation (coordination and governance) until it is resolved in the eyes of the client.
  • Client project management and document projects (dashboard / hours) , and continuing to evolve analytics action with client feedback
  • Create your own development plan to build your technical knowledge, and contribute to regional priorities

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a college degree (business & accounting, finance or economics preferred) and at least 4-6 years of experience, including 2 to 3 years of analytics reporting / Performance and attribution / financial reporting experience is preferable / required.
  • Client service / client management experience with institutional clients is preferable.
  • Client centric mindset, strong interpersonal skills, positive, can-do attitude, meticulous are essential.
  • Strong analysis skills are required.
