ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Revenue Accountant to join our national finance team.

We are open to either someone with 1-2 years of experience in a billings role or someone looking for their first accounting role.

The key responsibility of this role is to work with client engagement teams to ensure they meet their monthly revenue targets by invoicing clients in accordance with contractual obligations. To be successful in this role you need excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in how our business operates.

This is an ideal role for a Revenue Accountant with some previous experience in a billings role who has thrived working in a creative environment, and is comfortable sharing compliance and process with a shared services function.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Continuous management and monitoring of WIP across all client portfolios ensuring all jobs are reconciled and are in line with client contracts
  • Ensure all costs incurred are invoiced to clients promptly
  • Monitor revenue; reconcile revenue to ensure forecasts are met
  • Liaise with client engagement teams regarding open jobs, to confirm amounts to be invoiced and recognised as revenue each month
  • Preparation of billing (invoice) pro-formas and liaising with key stakeholders for their review
  • Review and reconciliation of JCR's with client engagement teams and production experts.
  • Monitor intercompany invoicing arrangements and issue invoices
  • Liaise with client engagement teams regarding intercompany arrangements and confirmation of amounts to be paid / charged on a monthly basis
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly client overview reports
  • Systems and process training for new starters and refresher courses for existing staff where required

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience in a billings role (1- 2 years) in a creative or digital environment
  • BCC Enterprise experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong communications skills
