Head of Group Controlling (M/F)

Located in Geneva and reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will support group's growth by strengthening and developing best-practice controlling methods, processes, and tools.

Our client is a midsized industrial group, leader in its sector, with a global presence.

We are currently looking for its Head of Group Controlling (M/F).

Description

• Assess and optimize current controlling scope, organization, and approach.
• Act as a financial sparring partner to the executive management and any other internal stakeholders.
• Lead the annual budget process assuring a qualitative and timely output.
• Perform monthly analysis of key deviations and propose corresponding corrective actions.
• Identify early warning signals and set up realistic forecasts.
• Supervise R&D controlling and intensify sales and operations' controlling.
• Liaise and coach local Finance Managers and Controllers in all controlling matters.
• Represent controlling function in any ERP related projects.

Profile

• Master's degree in business or economics.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in an international industrial group, ideally with a manufacturing background.
• Fluent in English. French is optional but desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work without close supervision.
• Attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks to a high standard.
• Pro-active and pragmatic with ease to work in teams.
• Experience of standard costing.
• Experience with ERP and advanced digital tools a plus.
