This is a Risk & Compliance executive position for a well-established brand company in the automotive sector. It is an engaging position where the individual gets exposure and engagement in supporting the key processes are streamlined to effectively enhance the strategic goals and objectives of the business.

Client Details

Our client is a world-renowned brand in the automotive sector, known for its high-quality and technological advancements which are among the most sought after in the world. To support the continuous growth, the team has newly created a Risk & Compliance executive position to scale the IA function and to be part of the global audit team based here in Singapore.

Description

  • Assist the Compliance Officer in the setup and maintenance of the local Compliance Management System eg. prevention of corruption, embezzlement, fraud, money laundering and business & human rights
  • Support and advise employees on compliance- and/or integrity-related matters in business operations, including business processes to ensure compliance with statutory rules, Group and/or internal regulations
  • Perform and complete the annual risk identification and validation exercises of the Annual GRC process in a timely manner
  • Recommend, monitor and ensure timely implementation of measures for key risks identified by actively coordinating with the responsible Business Units
  • Review and adapt Group and/or Brand Group Policies for timely local implementation.
  • Ensure content relevance and accuracy by engaging the respective Business Units in the process
  • Monitor and assess updates from Group and/or changes in regulatory requirements to ensure implemented policies remain up-to-date

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or Law
  • Have at least 2 years relevant working experience (Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk management, Corporate Governance etc)
  • Strong analytical, risk assessment and investigative skills
  • Demonstrate willingness to take on responsibilities and good time management
  • Able to work independently and remain self-motivated
  • Fluent in business English (spoken and written) as you would be communicating with various levels of employees
