Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management & Systems Accountant will be committed to providing excellence by maintaining the integrity and the functionality of the General Ledger and Finance system and the timely delivery of monthly management reporting to senior executives. In addition to regular reporting, you will build valuable relationships across the Company and provide insightful financial insights to support decision making.

Description

  • System process improvement and day-to-day administration of the ERP system
  • Perform Month End and Year End accounting processes
  • Month-end financial and product analysis
  • Management of Prepayments and Provisions
  • Inventory Costing & Product Maintenance
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Fixed asset register maintenance
  • Capex reporting
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Preparation of data for auditors (internal and external), tax agents or other external parties
  • Act as a resource of consultation, providing technical support where required
  • Support the Financial Controller in ensuring continuous improvement of company's accounting system and related processes
  • Establish and maintain a "fit for purpose" business intelligence software solution
  • Deputise for the Financial Controller where relevant and necessary
  • Ad hoc projects

Profile

The ideal candidate for this role is a strategically and commercially minded finance professional with strong learning capacity. A tenacious mindset with a persuasive nature will be key success factor for this role.

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Tangible management reporting and analysis experience
  • Ability to produce clear and well-presented information to both financial and operational leaders
  • Strong attention to detail & work ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly computer literate with BI system experience
  • SAP experience desirable
  • Excellent team player and stakeholder management skills
