The Strategy and Transactions team guides clients to make better, more informed decisions as they buy, sell, separate, integrate, reshape, restructure or rethink their business strategy. We help our clients by providing advice on all aspects of transactions, from inception to execution and completion.Being one of the fastest growing and reputable teams in Cyprus, we reign at the forefront of all major transactions on the island, covering numerous market sectors. Our Transactions Support team is currently looking to recruit for experienced professionals, across different levels - Assistant - Senior – Assistance Manager, to join our Strategy and Transactions Service Line.

About Transaction Support

Our Transaction Support Team assists businesses meet specific challenges, by identifying the key drivers of revenue and profitability, identifying value adjustments, improving deal structures, mitigating risks and questioning assumptions on future performance. Through this due diligence process, we improve our clients negotiating position and accelerate smooth transactions with minimal disruption.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

In your role as an Assistant/ Senior/ Assistant Manager you will have responsibility for:

• Understanding the key business drivers in a transaction, agreeing value measurements with the client, and providing value to the client through insights, factual conclusions and advice
• Gathering, verifying, analysing and assessing information, and formulating views
• Planning, preparing and reviewing deliverables in various forms including written reports in the English language, presentations and discussions with the client
• Planning and monitoring the progress of the team
• Sharing your technical and other knowledge with your team
• Building on and developing internal and external networks through personal contacts
• Playing a role in business plan initiatives (e.g. key accounts, recruitment, client service framework)
• Taking responsibility for your own learning and development, providing coaching / support to others, and participating in upward feedback

To qualify for the role you must have:

• ACCA or ACA qualification or equivalent professional qualification or relevant University degree
• Commercial awareness
• 1-2 years of transaction support experience for Assistant level, at least 3 years for Senior level, and more than 4 years for Assistant Manager level
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Effective time management skills and ability work well under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to build effective relationships at all levels

This position requires travel, as necessary.
