Job Description

  1. Assists in ensuring the safety and security of BNY Mellon's assets, property, and employees for a BNY Mellon region.
  2. Assists the Regional Security Manager with the execution of programs including fire safety and building security management. 
  3. Implements programs to mitigate the risk of security incidents.
  4. Assists investigative team in fact-finding regarding potential fraudulent or illegal activities perpetrated by employees or clients.
  5. Provides support and analysis of incidents that are relayed through the security command centers.
  6. Investigates security incidents in assigned region and implements corrective policies or actions, as necessary.
  7. Assists in supervising a small team of contract guard staff.
  8. Ensures assigned protectees are properly protected within the region of responsibility. 
  9. No direct reports. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives and goals.
  10. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements.
  11. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.5-7 years of total work experience preferred. 
  12. Prior experience in physical security and/or investigations is preferred.

  • leverage necessary platforms to assist and comply with company mandated processes such as Third-Party Governance, Finance, Audit and Compliance as required.
