Job Description
- Assists in ensuring the safety and security of BNY Mellon's assets, property, and employees for a BNY Mellon region.
- Assists the Regional Security Manager with the execution of programs including fire safety and building security management.
- Implements programs to mitigate the risk of security incidents.
- Assists investigative team in fact-finding regarding potential fraudulent or illegal activities perpetrated by employees or clients.
- Provides support and analysis of incidents that are relayed through the security command centers.
- Investigates security incidents in assigned region and implements corrective policies or actions, as necessary.
- Assists in supervising a small team of contract guard staff.
- Ensures assigned protectees are properly protected within the region of responsibility.
- No direct reports. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives and goals.
- Modified based upon local regulations/requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
- Prior experience in physical security and/or investigations is preferred.
- leverage necessary platforms to assist and comply with company mandated processes such as Third-Party Governance, Finance, Audit and Compliance as required.
- experience and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong focus on MS Excel.
