Your field of responsibility

An outstanding opportunity to join us in Group Finance in the Sustainability Reporting team. This is a new team within Group Finance that is focused on the Group’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Reporting. You will focus on analyzing, interpreting and managing the implementation of new ESG reporting requirements, including, but not limited to, requirements from the SEC, the International Sustainability Standards Board, the EU and other voluntary ESG reporting frameworks such as SASB and WEF. In addition, you will support the ESG reporting processes, such as disclosure manual development, embedding the ESG reporting controls framework, governance and the related assurance activities, over the Group Sustainability Report.

The Sustainability Reporting team is a newly team within Group Finance who are passionate about ESG. Individuals in the team are proactive, collaborative and have a strong controls approach. We are looking for individuals that have excellent analytical and interpretation skills, a positive attitude with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple and effective manner. The role is highly collaborative with opportunities to work with senior sustainability business partners and cross functional teams. Your skills and experience

Sustainability reporting team members develop SME knowledge on ESG requirements and work closely with a diverse set of stakeholders across the life cycle of ESG reporting, from interpreting requirements, defining data attributes, embedding a strong control environment and reviewing and challenging the Group’s ESG reporting.

We are looking for candidates with following proven background / experiences:

  • Chartered Accountant with proven post qualification experience within the banking industry or a Big 4 accounting firm, preferably in a similar role
  • Relevant ESG Reporting experience with solid knowledge of ESG disclosure frameworks. IFRS or US GAAP reporting experience a plus.
  • Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to identify, understand and research complex issues/risks. Develop solutions that resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Able to take complex ESG reporting requirements and explain them in everyday language and build positive relationships with internal clients in different locations to understand and address their needs.
  • Change management experience, project leadership skills with ability and experience of driving projects, delivering end to end.
  • Results oriented individual with strong work ethic and be willing to dive into the detail and get ‘hands-on’ to deliver
  • Are relationship focused and able to build and maintain positive working relationships across the organization. Proven ability to manage work well under pressure
