The Role Responsibilities

  • The Financial Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for the production, control and delivery of the Group's key prudential supervisory reporting and disclosure for Capital, Liquidity, Large Exposures and Leverage, including: COREP (Own Funds, LCR, LE, NSFR, Leverage), Pillar 3 and PRA 110. The onshore team is in London and supported by teams in India, Poland and Singapore. The team also plays a key support and liaison role for country reg teams, global functions (such as Risk, Compliance and Treasury), Investor Relations and is a key contact for the Bank of England and other regulators. The team also acts as a centre of subject matter expertise in solvency and liquidity regulations for the business, change functions and Financial Planning and Analytics, advising senior management and supporting external stakeholders.
  • The FRR business as usual reporting activities are split between Group Liquidity Regulatory Reporting (GLRR) and Group Capital Regulatory Reporting (GCRR). Working across Capital and Liquidity, there is also the Business Support team and the Regulatory Production Strategy and Policy team.
  • This role of Manager - Financial Regulatory Reporting, Poland reports to the Senior Manager in the Regulatory Reporting team in Poland, in respect of the GCRR near shore team in Poland which acts as an extension of the onshore team in London, supporting all the London teams in delivery of functional objectives. This will include working closely with the off shore team in India and all GCRR stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will focus on the new reconciliation process designed in Python between financial books and records and regulatory metrics but will also provide support on various existing aspects of BAU capital reporting covering the Credit Risk, Counterparty Risk, CVA, Operational Risk, Securitisation, Leverage and Large Exposure parts of the COREP returns and associated disclosures, GSIB, QIS, Pillar 3 and Benchmarking.
  • They will support implementation of various aspects of new reporting requirements for CRR II/ Bank of England regulation including new COREP templates and Finalisation of Basel III. The successful candidate will show initiative and take ownership to critically analyse requirements, and communicate effectively with stakeholders across risk, finance, and other stakeholder teams to develop digital solutions, processes, controls and documentation, and participate in user acceptance testing.
  • Expertise in relation to the regulatory capital calculations (particularly capital supply, credit risk including counterparty credit risk (standardised and models), standardised operational risk RWA, securitisation, leverage, QIS, GSIB (reporting and disclosure) including current and future rules and regulations and how they apply to SCB.
  • Expertise in systems and processes used to generate regulatory capital metrics, as well as digital and data science skill sets to improve data management and analysis.
  • Interpretation and guidance to business units on PRA and EBA rules under Basel IV/CRD V, CRR II and taxonomies
  • Timely submission of GCRR processes covering COREP Own Funds, Leverage, Large exposures, Pillar 3, GSIBs, Benchmarking, and other associated reporting and disclosure.
  • Development and maintenance of controls and the control environment
  • Use of digital science for development and implementation of new regulatory processes, validations, reporting, data extraction and analysis.
  • Maintain a list of system/process/data issues and contribute to Capital Data Quality Forum
  • Support on Moody's Risk Authority and Axiom User Acceptance Testing & Signoffs for system updates and new software releases.
  • Contribute to the bank's responses on Discussion and Consultation papers and Technical Standards on regulatory developments and changes from the Basel Committee, PRA and others.
Our Ideal Candidate

  • An individual with a minimum of 5 years of Regulatory capital reporting experience in regulatory reporting, particularly COREP reporting of RWAs, Large Exposures and other regulatory returns.
  • Regulatory reporting experience in major banks
  • Proficient skills in Excel VBA and SQL.
  • Python required, C# and other coding language desirable.
