Description

• Supporting the Group Finance Manager in the consolidation of the global group for monthly and annual results
• Generating and posting monthly consolidation and elimination journals for the group
• Review of monthly submissions from markets, raising queries and ensuring issues are resolved on a timely basis where necessary
• Production of consolidated annual statutory accounts and individual UK entity statutory accounts (all currently prepared under FRS 102)
• Coordinating the collection, review and consolidation of year-end disclosure information
• Working with our auditors and supporting the audit process across the global group
• Playing a key role in the successful implementation of a new group financial consolidation system
• Supporting the accounting for, and on-boarding of, new acquisitions to the group
• Acting as a point of contact within finance for technical accounting & system-related queries
• Assisting in the planned refresh of the group accounting policies manual
• Supporting the adoption of new accounting standards as appropriate across the group
• Engaging with Group Tax, Treasury, Financial Systems, Legal & Internal Audit teams as required
• Supporting continuous improvement across processes, controls, statutory reporting and application of accounting standards

Profile

• ACA qualified
• Minimum two years post-qualified experience (either in practice or in industry)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Experience of large multi-national, multi-currency consolidations (either as preparer or auditor)
• Strong excel skills
• Ability to multitask and work to tight timelines
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to engage with a geographically and culturally diverse set of stakeholders
• Analytical mindset
• Self-motivated and dependable

Job Offer

Salary of £50,000 - £60,000 plus bonus and benefits
