Controlling Manager (Automotive, Bangkok)

You will be joining global manufacturing with over 40 years established in Thailand, they are looking for a Controlling Manager to provide all necessary controlling analysis, and financial activities related.

The global automotive technology leader specializes in Interior Systems and Automotive Exteriors.

Description

• Manage the controlling of a R&D Site or Region, engineering, prototypes, and tooling costs to guarantee and optimise the R&D financial performance and competitiveness.
• Platform business revenues and costs controlling role (trading, production)
• Ensure site activities are compliant with corporate finance related procedures, and internal control basics
• Perform monthly closing activities including accruals preparation and balance sheet checks with Accounting team.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and balance sheet compliance with Corporate and local standards
• Standard cost/price setting with monthly reconciliation (standard costing, pricing).
• Lead all forecasting processes
• Manage reporting process ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay compliance
• Propose the action plans resulting from relevant analysis in order to achieve the operational targets (especially regarding costs, workload,…)
• Provide all necessary controlling analysis including variance analysis, R&D Site budgetary control, projects and programs monitoring

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Accounting/Finance or Engineering background with a Finance experience
• 5+ years experience in costing/ business analysis, background manufacturing
• Must be able to use/ manipulate computer programs - Excel skills
• Must have hands-on SAP
• Fluent in both Thai and English
