Finance Associate (Working Capital Management)

What are you accountable for?

• Work with stakeholders, gather inputs to prepare weekly and monthly cashflow forecasts

• Own the cash flow forecast models, continue to improve on the process including fine tuning the assumptions and exploring the most efficient way to complete the models

• Work with Credit and Control team to set daily/weekly/monthly collection targets, monitor progress, highlight and work on deviations wherever necessary

• Prepare periodic working capital reporting and provide update on working capital performance to key stakeholders

• Support Head of Working Capital to create and drive initiatives to optimize working capital of the Group including but not limited to improving key working capital ratios such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and Days To Pay (DTP) days

• Attend collection meetings and ensure action plans are in place to reduce slow moving accounts and improve DSO

• Any other task assigned by the reporting manager.

What do you need to have for this role?

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Qualification in Finance / Accounting / Banking or equivalent

• Preferably has a minimum 3 years working experience in Audit or Advisory or Financial Reporting and Planning

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power point

• Good written and verbal communication skills, customer-centric focus with internal partners

• Able to work independently

• Preferably, has experience in using SAP system
