Due to continued growth and success, we are currently seeking a Corporate Finance Executive to join our Corporate Finance Team in our Midlands office, based in Oldbury. The role will be broad and varied as the candidate will assist in the execution of Transaction Support and Lead Advisory engagements.

The role

Transaction Support

Preparation of financial due diligence reports in respect of:

  • Bank pre-lending reviews.
  • Corporate acquisition.
  • Private equity acquisitions.
  • Liaising with other departments (e.g. tax) throughout the transaction.
  • Liaising with clients, funders and intermediaries during execution of transactions.

Lead Advisory

  • Report writing (e.g. preparation of Information Memorandum, Business Plans).
  • Financial modelling (e.g. cash flow/financing models).
  • M&A analysis (e.g. identification of potential acquisition targets or buyers).
  • Researching, preparing and supporting presentations/sales pitches for new business.
  • Liaising with clients, funders and intermediaries during execution of transactions.
  • Relationship building with local intermediary market (banks, lawyers etc.).

The role requirements

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or relevant work experience with some corporate finance or transaction services experience being desirable.
  • Be commercially minded, displaying high levels of accuracy and diligence in their work.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast paced and dynamic environment with an ability to grapple and understand business issues quickly.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Word and Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license and car.
