Responsible for ensuring applications meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases in a software development environment
• Communicate closely with the development team on requirements and expectations
• Create testing environments to mimic use-case scenarios
• Conduct and monitor testing and inspection of applications to ensure finished product quality
• Document quality assurance activities
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
• Collect and compile statistical quality data
• Responsible for documentation of test case management systems
• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

Required Skills

• Strong computer skills including:
• Google Docs
• Various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, and Edge)
• Various platforms (Windows, Chromebook, Mac, and Linux)

Desired Skills

• Some colleges preferred (Information Technology or Computer Science majors a plus)
• Quality inspection, auditing, and testing experience
• Product or industry-specific experience (Web Application Development)
• Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA
• Databases
