My client is a leading player in the Agricultural sector providing a range of services and products to clients across the country. They function as a supportive solution focused Credit Risk team keen to help their clients in challenging times. The Credit Risk Specialist is a new role and will give you the chance to play a crucial role in this larger finance team

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Credit Risk Specialist?
  • You will liaise with new and existing clients daily to ensure relevant credit risks are managed and mitigated
  • Review insured accounts to make sure they have the correct level of exposure and cover
  • Manage payment plans as well as finance decline ledgers within the Credit Risk area this includes looking at legal resolutions if required
  • Provide ongoing credit reviews to mitigate future issues and make account amendments where necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous Credit Risk experience is essential however the ideal candidate may come from any sector background
  • An ability to read company accounts and look at detailed credit applications and review agreements
  • Strong problem resolution skills - you should be customer centric but also commercial in your thinking
  • The successful candidate will also have negotiation and influencing skills when working with clients and stakeholders.
