Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Go Rentals is one of Ireland’s premier Vehicle Rental & Leasing Companies. Our company, established in 1968, has developed a reputation as leaders within this market dealing with a diverse range of customers, from single day hires by the general public, to leading organisations with multi-year full contract maintenance fleet leases.
As part of the further expansion of our team, we are now seeking an experienced Part time, or Sub-Contractor -Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to work within our Naas operation.
We desire that you have a strong work ethic reflected in your commitment, an inquisitive mind, along with very strong administrative & communication skills. You must have experience from a similar financial environment.
Key attributes required:
- Qualified from a recognised accounting body
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Must have an advanced level of Excel
- Knowledge of Xero and/or Sage Accounting Software would be desirable, but not essential
- Preferable experience in the motor or banking industry, but not essential
- Strong communication, organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Team player with a high level of self-motivation in a busy working environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills & communication skills – both written and verbal (English Essential)
- Very strong attention to detail and conscientious approach to work, with problem solving
The Role
The successful candidate will be required for:
- Overall management of the Finance Department
- Review completeness of Management A/Cs and preparation of Monthly/Quarterly Management report with written analysis for presentation to MD.
- Develop and test internal control systems to ensure compliance
- Analyse trends, possible improvements, areas of risks, financing and any key issues relating to the business
- Procure and liaise with Finance Providers in relation to funding.
- Preparations of reports for future projections consisting of; Cashflow forecast, Balance sheet & Profit & Loss and budgeting.
- Work with departments to review and develop strategic plans.
- Other ad -hoc projects
Key Information
16 hours per week, flexible
Part-time, or Sub-contract position available
Salary Basic: €55k+ (Pro-rata) Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Start Date – ASAP
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
