Your new role Reporting to the Finance Manager Networks you will play a key role in the financial accounting and support functions and processes to the internal business and value add, revenue generating services to external entities.
You key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the co-ordination and control of the month end process
- Control the integrity of Oracle financial information, in particular Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
- Ensuring that month end deadlines and reporting are achieved.
- Update cost centre and project forecasts for all cost centres and projects
- Provide cost centre and project managers their monthly results
- Liaise with project managers and staff to provide reports and analysis for projects
- Provide analysis of department reports as necessary for all Networks.
- Preparation of cost centre and project budgets in conjunction with cost centre managers
- Assist in ensuring that the company complies with all relevant accounting standard
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 3 years business experience in financial and management accounting
- Experience in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Understanding of Australian/International accounting standards
- Experience in Project Accounting
- Strong understanding of major ERP systems (preferable Oracle)
- Good communication and influencing skills.
- Capacity to work in multi organisational and complex environment.
- Relationship building skills with Customer Focus.
