The position in discussion is with the Audit team at KPMG Resource Centre Private Limited (KRCPL), which is KPMG’s global delivery center and is an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally.

 

KRC Audit is a fast-growing team that is servicing KPMG’s European audit clients and few other countries. Majority of our work is for the UK audit practice, but we are also serving KPMG - Holland, Australia, Cayman Island, Channel Island and Bermuda. We are looking at ways of growing the number of countries we serve.

 

You will be part of a Corporates Listed and Regulated audit team from UK geography which is outlined below.

Summary of role purpose

 

 

 

To support our business, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Manager to join our team and assist in providing audit services to KPMG UK via a department extension model, which enables and enhances the effectiveness and efficiency in client delivery. The structure consists of 130+ team members working for Corporates listed and regulated in the regions within the UK, and London. Throughout the year, we provide services specific to the large FTSE audited entities in various sectors of manufacturing, service, real estate, retail, telecommunications among others.

 

 

 

Role Responsibilities
 

 

We are recruiting for a Manager in the Audit team. Working as a Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:

 

 

 

  • Lead a team of graduates and qualified Executives, Seniors and AMs working on audits for the onshore Managing international clients and leading the audits Act as main point of contact for onshore departments.  Build strong relationships with onshore department champions/other key contacts in the onshore. Work with the senior management and key onshore contacts to develop business and grow the team
  • Make regular contact with onshore to ensure staff are booked to audits and utilized effectively and take feedback on quality of work delivered
  • Track key metrics related to type of work performed, quality of deliverables and feedback from onshore Develop and deliver training sessions based on the themes identified from onshore feedback and quality reviews Work with L&D team to identify training needs Work with Recruitment team to support hiring needs Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of staff members Coach AMs and TLs on performing reviews and developing their staff Motivate and develop AMs and TLs to become effective leaders

 

 

Job Requirements

 

Educational qualification and experience:

 

  • Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA). 5+ years of experience with a Big 4 in a client facing environment working with corporate and/or international. IT literacy with sound knowledge and experience of Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint

 

 

Behavioural / team skills:

 

 

 

  • An inquisitive mind and a strong passion for government led entities.
