Your new role

The Group Accountant will assist the Group Financial Controller to deliver consolidated Group financial reporting and analysis for the Group. They will co-ordinate the month-end / year-end close processes, working with the Company Accountants for the subsidiaries and the Group Financial Controller to ensure that all reporting requirements are delivered to a high standard and in the required timeframes. They will prepare commentary to provide the Group Financial Controller (GFC) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a clear understanding of the key drivers in the month and year to date results for the Group.

They will strive to continuously improve the financial reporting processes for the Group by working with the Group Financial Controller to assess the impact of new accounting standards on the Group and identifying and suggesting enhancements to the Group's information systems and framework of internal controls.

What you'll need to succeed
CA Qualified
Exposure to large enterprise software (ERP).
Reporting
NZ IFRS experience
