Role / Department:
The EMEA Depositary Services Group provides robust depositary, trustee and fiduciary services, supported by stringent compliance monitoring and oversight activities. Our Depositary business acts as both client advisory and service delivery partner, whilst satisfying overarching EU regulatory requirements in the key areas of enhanced investor protection, transparency, reporting, and the minimisation of systematic risk within the investment process. We are now recruiting in the Custody Oversight Section of UK Depositary, to add to the Custody Oversight Team.
The key responsibilities of the role within Custody Oversight include:
- Assist with the onboarding of New Clients to UK Depositary
- Assist with Fund Launches / Mergers for existing UK Depositary Clients
- Assist with Fund Name Changes for existing UK Depositary Clients
- Assist with the oversight of Inspecie activity for existing UK Depositary Clients
- Assist with the completion of Market Opening and Tax Documentation for UK Depositary Clients
- Assist with the tracking / closure of dormant / terminated custody accounts
- Assist with Custodian Service Reviews
- Assist with yearly Custodian Due Diligence process
- Client query resolution (both internal and external clients)
Skills / Experience required:
- Custody experience is required
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
- Financial Services industry experience
- Experience working for a depositary/trustee (or like function)
- Funds knowledge with reference to the UK rules and/or regulations (e.g. the COLL and FUND)
