Exciting opportunity to participate in identifying and delivering enhancements across Treasury areas (operational, liquidity, funding, IRR, analytics) for the UK broker dealer and bank entities and to participate into shaping strategy for Treasury capabilities through:
  • Developing an understanding of data and technology infrastructure supporting the liquidity and funding reporting, analytics and management processes
  • Supporting multi-year global initiatives to drive liquidity management, funding and IRRBB management capabilities to a target state
  • Partnering across Finance departments to ensure Treasury engagement and participation in Finance transformation initiatives
  • Supporting the transformation effort for the UK Treasury team and ensuring alignment with local goals and priorities.
  • Coordinating with UK Legal Entity Treasury teams, liquidity and IRRBB SMEs to ensure appropriate UK inputs into the global liquidity initiatives
  • Supporting the preparation of business requirements documentation and taking part in testing and adoption of global solutions (e.g. new systems, capabilities such as forecasting, technologies, liquidity metrics, governance routines)
  • Supporting the delivery of enhancements to key liquidity metrics including internal (RLAP) and external (NSFR, LCR) ratios, as well as other metrics (Eg. Resolution related metrics and reporting, other limits)
  • Keeping abreast and aware of the different implementation stages across various projects and initiatives
  • Appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications , Skills and Desirable Traits :
  • Previous experience in Finance
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability, dynamism and is able to pick up projects with minimal supervision
  • Curious and desiring to learn; able to pick up new technologies/functionalities (e.g. Power BI, Python, machine learning etc.)
  • Has prior consultancy and/or Treasury experience, in a transformation or project development and management role
  • Experience of designing and implementing strategic projects related to liquidity, funding, interest rate risk or general finance transformation
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Must have advanced analytical skills but also the ability to see the big picture
  • Excellent communication skills are imperative i.e. ability to make complex subjects easily digestible for senior management
  • Has Proven Power Point and Excel skills
  • Must be a team player

Education:
  • Bachelors degree, potentially ACT/CFA or other qualifications
