Your Opportunity
The Operational Services organization at Schwab partners with teams across the firm to deliver on service promises to Schwab clients. We are responsible for protecting and safeguarding the assets of the firm and our clients while continuing to increase scalability and efficiency.

Within Operational Services, the Operations Transformation Organization (OTO) is a multi-functional group that is helping to drive transformation across Operational Services and the broader firm. We use a variety of methodologies, tools and capabilities to drive large-scale change.

This Business Analysis role specializes in capacity planning, making it central to the firm's scale and efficiency efforts. Capacity planning plays a critical role within Operations in identifying, prioritizing, and solving sophisticated problems while partnering with business, finance, and other collaborators to optimize our employee footprint now and in the future.

You will engage Directors and Managing Directors to develop short- and long-term forecasts from a blend of quantitative analysis and business judgement then translate them into strategic, practical staffing plans that meets client service commitments. Once in place, you will supervise volumes and service levels then facilitate regular meetings to review the tactical plan, provide analysis - highlighting areas of risk and opportunity, and recommended course(s) of action.

In addition to Schwab's internal data sources, this role extensively uses Enlighten Operational Excellence software to gather, analyze, and disseminate information upholding the lean and continuous improvement methodologies it is built around. Research and analysis generated within Excel, Tableau, and other available platforms will be used to interpret emerging trends that identify and drive tactical and strategic options supporting the needs of the Operations division. Applying these tools to perform various technical and analytic processes, the [Senior] Manager will chip in to forecasting and planning functions as they relate to capacity, client demand, and associate productivity across the 20 business lines in Operations.

*Subject to change as Schwab is continually evaluating the current environment in order to best care for the safety and well-being of our employees.
