The position

The Finance team has grown, creating an exciting need for this new position reporting into the Group Financial Controller. This hands-on role is responsible for the preparing month end accounts, maintaining the overall integrity and accuracy of the accounting system, managing payroll, and preparing statutory returns. It is perfect for a first mover from Business services or Audit!

Main Responsibilities:

  • General ledger review including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the budget, forecasting and cash flow reporting
  • Fixed Asset management
  • Monthly journal entries including prepayments and accruals
  • Commission calculations and payments
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Full ownership of payables and receivables
  • Statutory return lodgement including BAS and Payroll Tax
  • Adhoc projects as required

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. You should be approachable and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt as the group expands their business. If you are an ambitious self-starter with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, this role is for you.
