Head of Regulatory Reporting, Finance - Regional Bank

Your new company
A reputable and stable regional bank, providing a wide range of financial products and services to its clients in Asia, is looking to hire a Senior Financial Accounting (SVP / VP level) to lead its Finance Regulatory Reporting team locally in Hong Kong, and to drive strategic finance initiatives and projects as a key finance stakeholder.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the Local Head of Finance, you will be leading a team of ~10, to review and check all regulatory reports to local authorities (HKMA, SFC), and to supervise different finance projects and automation. You will also be responsible to manage the team to perform month-end consolidation for the bank and its subsidiaries.

What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful candidate, you will need to have the following qualification(s) and experience:

• 15 years of financial accounting / regulatory reporting experience in banking / financial services sector with team leading / management experience;
• Strong communication skills and senior stakeholder management experience;
• Fluent in English and Cantonese;
• Professional qualification in Accounting is a MUST;
