Quality Assurance, Assistant Manager (K-JESS)

Overview of the opportunity:
You are a Quality Assurance Professional, will lead the robust review of various work product and processes within our Accounting Service Centre. These work products and processes will be reviewed at different phases in their development to ensure they meet a set of consistent standards.
As the Subject Matter Expert on Quality, you are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all quality processes within the Accounting Service Centre. Your team will lead in developing and managing the quality control systems to prevent internal failures, develop initiatives to improve performance against established quality measures resulting in improved achievements in quality and accuracy ratings. Ensure complete compliance with company and regulatory standards, proactively manage and mentor Quality Assurance team members and act as a catalyst for continuous improvement.
Education/Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
* Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work and project management experience, with minimum of three years of progressive accounting experience
* Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor would be an asset
* Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
* Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and process design practices
