Title: Accounting Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Job Profile:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. The Accounting Manager must comply with established policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
* Support duties related to accounts payables and accounts receivables functions.
* Assist with preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports.
* Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies.
* Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Entering financial information into appropriate software.
* Coordinating internal and external audit.
* Reconciliation of Accounts.
* Follow thru on company's communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
* Other related duties

* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Decision making skills
* Effective verbal & listening communication skills
* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Effective written communication skills
* Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word processing programs at a highly proficient level
* Ability to operate under pressure, achieve goals and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal direction.
* Build excellent working relationship to attain goals.
* Excellent Organizational Skills
* Must be able to Multi-task
* Positive Attitude and Strong Work Ethic
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 GCE O'Levels / CXC /CAPEpasses (inclusive of Mathematics and English)
* Knowledge of accounts receivable
* Knowledge of office administration and procedures
* Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
* Proficient in relevant computer applications
* 2-3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
* 2-3 years Payroll Experience, an asset
