Responsibilities:

Prepare annual tax returns and computations
Prepare responses to tax authorities' queries and/or support tax audits
Prepare the monthly and quarterly tax provision, tax forecasts and tax notes for statutory accounts
Liaise with external consultants and internal business partners to identify, research and analyse tax issues and planning opportunities
Assist in the implementation of tax digitization and automation processes
Provide tax training to business units
Stay up to date of changes in tax regime and accounting standards
Handle ad-hoc tax related projects as assigned from time to time

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or other professional accounting qualifications
2 to 3 years of relevant taxation experience within Big Four Accountancy firms or commercial firms or IRAS
Good technical knowledge in tax
Proactive, committed and able to work under tight deadlines
Possess initiative and ability to work independently
Good analytical skills and attention to details
A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
